Well with another week of training for the Great North Run/Kielder Marathon under my belt, I feel as though it has been a mixed week to be honest. At the start of the week I didn’t think I would get as much training in at all as I came down with a really heavy cold, so sensibly I rested Monday and Tuesday night. Fortunately by Wednesday I had started to pick up a bit and got out on the bike for a cheeky 9 miler around the North Tyneside Waggonways just to get some form of exercise under my belt with Chester Le Street parkrun and the Great North 10k coming up at the weekend I wanted to keep myself sharp.
